Abbiamo incominciato nel 1950 con una promozione in Serie C, anche se avvenuta dopo una comunicazione della Lega Semiprofessionisti per la retrocessione del Chieti all’ultimo posto, il tutto per alcuni fatti di corruzione in cui erano implicati giocatori della Vastese. Poi fu tutto chiarito e l’ultima partita in casa con la stessa Vastese vinta per 5-0 sancì, dopo il verdetto della CAF, anche il primato sul campionato ai danni del Pescara. Sugli scudi i dirigenti……………………che si impegnarono moltissimo per la causa sportiva, poi dopo il verdetto, il Consiglio Society General appointed Dr. ... ... ... ... .... Special Commissioner. Caro Nonno Enio, Lei mi parla dell’ala destra Paradiso che in quegli anni dava filo da torcere ai suoi difensori. Ecco l’ala Costantino Paradiso giocava con il Chieti negli anni 60’ facendo parte della famosa formazione 1963-64 che fece uno straordinario campionato sfiorando Series B.
