Here are the impressions of a user forum (Corse) who tested the Centurion.
"Yes, although now is a ghost on the forum, I could not feel bound to publish the first impressions of the new group of knife Nexus.Si impression is derived from the day hasty use of the rally, but will serve as the basis for a test deeper I plan to do that in the month of April. First appearance, and live kidnaps his heart. As I am in love with the Nexus 7 for an act of affection, I must say that at first glance the Centurion won me over. Very nice, especially the color of the handle (well, not black like me crazy but Dago). In appearance, comfort. Vetronite is comfortable in your hand (also thanks to the work of the softness in this esamplare LION). But what is surprising is that it is not nearly as hot as the G10 or micarta.Insomma, fantastic material (mechanical properties are now known to more then Needless to say). And we go to feel in challenging the Centurion. First, although lighter than Gaius, it seems you feel more weight and feeling of power. On the center of gravity forward which compensates for the shorter length of the blade on impact, giving a greater power than the more neutral Caio.Oltre weight, one immediately realizes that many things have changed. The shank exposed, now almost a skull, the design of the tip, more suited to the work leading precisely, the absence of grodonatura top (which I would have preferred to be preserved, though perhaps shorter than the previous year), the wide blade in proximity of the guard, deepening the height of the bevel edge (well, not so obvious). All this equates to a greater efficiency in terms of chopping without any compromise on the front used as knives. The Centurion I, in fact, appeared to handle and compact. Of course, not talking about a 5 inch but with a little (or a folder) could be an excellent all-fareAlla knife proof of the facts, the new Nexus has demonstrated its value. I have not had the opportunity to take time, but I can say that I appeared more potent and Caio MCKF-1. I could also make comparisons with other fast parts, such as Kesley of Goemon (nice and perhaps more effective in Centurion chopping pure), a custom Darrez, some pieces of Aga and a few scraps (which will never stop to appreciate the ' effectiveness combined with the simplicity and robustness). In Overall, the Centurion comes out (in my personal ranking) the best among those cited as versatility while not being the BEST each field. Some tests should be deepened because of course time and reduced arm fatigue at the end have distorted some tests. But this is just first impressions addition to the tests of chopping and tried batoning (which reduced the length of the blade at a disadvantage compared Caius) and the use of Centuriore grinding wood or other. Needless to say, passed the test, hands down. But I did not expect anything meno.Da say that at the end of testing, the wire was almost immaculate (except for a dent on the back of the knife. Bacco If those who gave me back the beat del coltello su una roccia... Non so, ma trovarsi di fronte a simili results (for any reason) can only give joy to any fan like me who did the fourth-born of his family NEXUS.Una family destined (hopefully soon) to receive a fantastic new NATO. The Spartacus. But that's another story ...."
