few days ago I took advantage of a day of good weather (certainly not rare at this time) to make a little excursion, accompanied by a friend of mine.
The forest where we went, however, is wild, dappetrtutto branches, brambles and fallen trees there for decades, clear passage of wild boar, no path, and so on.
So I brought the Nexus Caio, the Dog Father Combat Grade and a sickle with the blade about 25 cm.
Now, after a while 'we have found the trees abattoir, beautiful hard. My friend told me that they had fallen by at least 10 years. So, this gives you an idea of \u200b\u200bhow tough they were.

More than once, however, we found ourselves in difficulty to climb. I finally cleaned the Caio with a cloth soaked in alcohol. And here we are
reflection. The
Caio is not a chopper, is not effective in chopping, like a sickle thin and lightweight, but compared to the Dog Father has not noticed a big difference (at least I have not noticed). Heavy duty rather a nice pair of gloves, any knife you are using.
The Nexus Caio, however, was not born as a chopper but as a field knife. Well, today Caio has shown, at least for me, a great field knife. Powerful in chopping, versatile, robust, not too bulky and required a very high wire.
also do not know if with a long blade (type Golok L) and a small fixed type Tito) I would have been better.
I could not use any of the two blades as a support to climb the bank of the stream, although I would have spent less time in the cutting of the branches (and probably the sausage).
With Caio but I managed anyway to do all the work for which there was no need.
